Carnival#1 Posted May 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2004 On one of our cruises, we had a book in our cabin that told the history of Carnival. Apparently, the cruise line was bought for $1.00 plus assumed debt and turned a profit during it's first year. I am working on an economics term paper and wanted to make Carnival the subject, but I need to trace the history and cannot find any reference to the early beginning. I need a source that can be bibliographied. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this book or another that documents the early history?? ralmyers Posted May 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2004 Ooh -- economics term paper. Don't envy you! Did you contact Carnival directly? 888-Carnival. They are more than obliging in regards to just about anything. Do a google search also, just will need to use some discernment to muddle through the junk and bunk.
