I can't wait to get my luggage all unpacked and sit on the balcony with a glass of Moscato waiting for the ship to move!

 

My next cruise will also be the first one with my service dog. I can't wait to see what she thinks of the ocean.

🛄 to drop my bags off in the terminal and walk across to the ship
🍲 to grab some food at Windjammer, get a table with a view, and enjoy the fact that it's really happening! 

🍹 to get a drink and watch sail away from the balcony

🗓️ to have no idea what day of the week it is until I look down in the elevator

for me and my family to get a cruise holiday ... to relax and unwind

getting on board the ship and hearing the buzz sound  of the card

to go to windjammer... and get a cold glass of wine... my hubby a nice cold beer

To go wander around the ship and take it all in again 

to be out in the ocean and have a delicious frozen cocktail

getting dressed up to go to watch a show

to meet people and chat

sit by the pool while our daughter goes in and out the pool

hearing the children laughing, making a noise and having fun at the pool

giovanni's table and windjammer buffet

 

I wish I knew when it would happen

I can't wait to.....

• Load up the car, drive to the port and shimmy in the car seat at the sight of cruise ships at port
• Step onboard Indy and head to the Windjammer for lunch
• Race to my cabin the moment they announce cabins are open
• Step out on the balcony and be amazed that I'm once again onboard a cruise ship after a 4 year drought
• Wander around the ship with my roommate -- it will be her first Freedom class ship
• Snag an umbrella drink, return to the cabin and sit on the balcony as the ship departs the port
• Enjoy that first night's dinner in the MDR with a glass of wine and some tasty treats
• Fall asleep to the motion of the ship as she heads for our first port of call

Can't wait to lose signal on my cell phone when heading out to seas (turn off roaming mode) so that work can not contact me.  Can't wait to have the next 7 days for rest and relaxation with my family enjoying the ship and the ocean.

• watch the info channel on the TV to see the ocean depth increase and increase!
• get up early and head out onto the track to walk laps before the sun rises!
• sit on the balcony with a cup of hot tea after my early morning walk/run, watching the sea and thanking God for His beautiful creation and the ability to enjoy it in such a setting!
• hear the steel drum band play!
• see how they decorate a cruise ship for Christmas!

I can't wait for the first moment I see the ship as I approach the terminal.  Always an ahhhh moment filled with anticipation.  It never gets old.  More than anything I can't wait to cruise knowing the pandemic is past history never to be repeated.
