Our Adventure on the Adventure - Live from Adventure of the Seas, July 3, 2021

The room was nice and large, plenty of space and a bit of a view. Not bad. Probably would have had a nicer room at Baja Mar or Atlantis but we would have paid twice as much too. For one night, this was great.

The gift shop at the Hilton has a few varieties of wine for $17, $20, or $22 depending on what you get. There is a small store about a block away towards the port that has a few bottles for $13. We didn’t go in but there wasn’t much to choose from.

Check in was amazingly smooth. Start to finish was less than 30 minutes including stopping for the boys antigen tests. Sitting and waiting for results now. We just completed 2/3 of the e-muster steps while we are waiting. Now all we have to do is visit the muster station on the ship.

So we learned that the free internet for suite guests is only on Oasis class ships. We got a 10% discount on internet for the week that we just purchased.

We have had a blast so far.

We tried to complete our must requirements as soon as we got on the ship but they weren’t ready yet so we went to the windjammer for lunch. Everything was delicious and they handed out welcome back cake, which the boys ate first. The Food and Beverage manager came around and introduced himself and we had a long chat with one of the waiters. Everyone is so happy to be back!

After lunch we headed back to the muster station and that was an easy process. While we were at the muster station they announced that rooms were ready so off we went.

This afternoon we unpacked our bags, registered the boys at Adventure Ocean, had ice cream and a few drinks by the pool. And went to dinner.

my oldest took a bet from his dad and ate escargot for his appetizer. Both boys wanted Herb Crusted Salmon, my husband had the Caribbean Jerk Pork Chop, and I had the Roast Beef. All delicious. The waitstaff sang happy birthday and brought out an extra dessert, caramel cheesecake with a candle for my oldest.

Looks like you all are loving it.  The more stuff I see posted like this the more excited I get to go.  3 months to wait seems like a long time but I bet it will be worth it.  I can almost feel the fun from the pics. Thanks
