Amazon with Machu Picchu extension

Booking this trip for beginning October 2022.  Has anyone been on either trip?  Hopefully beginning of October will be good for this trip.  Wanted to do November but the MP extension does not match up with the Amazon cruise during that time.  Just looking for general info!  Love Lindblad/NG trips!

I have done the the MP extension as part of my Galapagos trip, it was end of October, beginning of November.  I haven't done the Amazon trip.  Machu Picchu was definitely worth a visit.  Ours was a 4-day extension, not sure how long yours is, but we were definitely on the move every day.  Once we got on the ship, we joked that we would keep putting our bags outside our cabin every night out of habit.  We had some rain in Peru, but the temperatures were mild.  The altitude was challenging, but everyone did okay.
