We don't travel with a phone, so was wondering how to book a dining room sitting before sailing?  We always had it as our preference when we used to  do our booking, but don't see it anymore, and am not using a TA.  I would appreciate any words of wisdom.  Thank you. Nicole

Have you tried reading through parts of the DineMyWay thread on Princess board here?  Have you read about DineMyWay on Princess.com?

 

Assuming you know somethings, I won't do into minute detail.  Yes, you are correct, Princess removed dining preferences from Cruise Personalizer. 

 

Do you have someone in family with a smart device who can install the MC App and then you could go in and setup your cruise information?  You could select dining and then forget about it until on board.  (I am not going to address issues you will run into outside of DMW features, but you should be looking into this further to understand your situation intending to cruise without using MC App at all).

 

You may be able to get Princess rep to setup a dining request for you (assume you are looking for Traditional).  Phone in and see.

 

Otherwise, on board, you will be able to access dining on your cabin TV and book any available tables.  You can also be a "walk-up" as before - like Anytime Dining. 

 

If you get nowhere prior to cruising, go see the Maitre D' on embarkation day and see if he can set you up somewhere. 

 

 

PS - This thread should be merged with Dine My Way thread.  Otherwise, just tends to duplicate the topic for no valid reason.

Thank you for the info, and I will look into Dine My Way thread.  I did read about it, and have since found out that I can use my tablet to access DMW so I will get help with that.  Do you know how  I remove this thread please? As you can probably tell, I'm not very computer literate.  Thanks again for your help.

Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the post. Click on Report. Ask the mods to delete the thread. Since you are the OP they will likely comply.

I ad already suggested to them to merge it with DMW.  I guess they have not been inclined to do so as yet - or at all.  Whatever.
