I have to take a moment to give major kudos to those that manage to keep a regular and complete posting of each day as they go- It is really an accomplishment of time management.

We squeezed in muster, drinks at champagne bar, change of clothes, canapes and drinks at suite lounge, 5:30 dinner at chops (beef carpaccior is wonderful), early sailaway (8 pm instead of 9), sailaway dancing  and drinking (goombay smash and tequila shots), unpacking and packing a day bag for tomorrow..dang I'm tired!  Staff as reported are amazing --

The absolute best service we've ever had.  Off to sleep and a perfect day tomorrow

Tomorrow we have a water Cabana --. Hubby was chatting with one of the crew on the Cabana path and found out they are nolonger including the snorkal gear with the cabanas, so heads up if you planned on using it -- you have to rent it separately

We purchased the beach club passes at too high price. After your day can you let me know if you thought it was worth it in regards to the lower capacity. I’m not really concerned with the food it’s more to get a good lounger not on top of others in a relatively quiet spot. Thank you! And enjoy your day😊

Curacao Cosmo -- very good but a bit on the sweet side (caveat, as I'm prediabetic I don't consume a lot of sugar so my sweet receptors are sensitive).

Try a Lemon Drop, ask for no sugar, mixer or simple syrup, they will look at you funny, but press them on this, and lemon wedge or 2, take along your Splenda sweetner and just a squirt or a tab will do, I always take the Splenda tablet dispenser. If you're diabetic, it works.  Quite tasty.

Today we were in Port with Freedom (about 1400 passengers to our 600+) so between the difference if Adventure is the only ship  in Port or not, and the fact that we didn't go to any of the other areas, I can't really answer very well.  We loved our day at the club ($80 pp).  Will you find it a good value?  Maybe, maybe not.  If you are saing soon you probably don't need it if the food isn't a big plus for you.

I will give it a try, but just have them cut/reduce the  simple syrup.  I tend to prefer no sweetener over sugar alternatives 🙂

Back on board a bit early for showers and freshening up.  Lunch at the Club was delicious, as we expected.  Today we all had the lobster sandwich after the apps.  We do wish they would offer the apps earlier, maybe in the seating area to the left as you enter.  If you arrive early, 12 was a good hour+ Longer than we wanted to wait for food.  And we missed the breakfast offerings since we weren't hungry when they were out.  Of the apps, I personally enjoyednthe tzatzkiki the most, but it was all good.  The lobster sandwich was tasty -- the coconut breading was lightly sweet but just the right amount.  Hubby doesn't like truffle oil so he ended up a huge bowl of regular fries.  Drinks were Watermelon Rita's

The water park was so much fun: kiddos loved the wave pool A LOT! Slides were awesome as well, the tallest slide really isn’t that scary. Just a long way up. Our cabana server was great (but so is everyone else on the ship).

Spoke with some folks from Freedom, and heard a horror story of a lady who had a B2B with an unvaccinated child. She booked it in April and learned during her 4 day cruise that she can’t do B2B with her kid: he was tested negative this morning but for some reason rules have changed and they don’t allow unvaccinated to do B2B. They did offer here to rebook the second “leg” to Cape Canaveral though. So B2B on the same ship is a no-go but going from Miami to CC “B2B” is okay? Sorry Royal, can’t follow the logic especially since the kid was tested this morning.

Anyways, tomorrow another Perfect Day. Here’s a lobby picture for you folks. Good night (not for me ;))

Thanks for the feedback on the water park, glad you had such a good time!  How were the lines with Freedom in port at the same time?

Even with two ships I'm sure the island is relatively empty, but I was expecting that Adventure would be in port alone for both days next week, and just tonight realized that Freedom is scheduled to be there on the second day as well.  Of course it is the day I booked for the water park.  Trying to decide if I should bother trying to move our reservation to the first day, when I believe Adventure will be there alone.

Last night we ate in the MDR — food was ok, service was great.  If you like your wait staff you can request to be seated with them each time you dine in the MDR, so we opted to do that.  The four of us were seated at a very large table 😂

After dinner we found our way to Boleros for a bit - led there by my husband who heard  music (he’s a professional musician and singer) that called to him.  The band was great — I believe it was the Culture Band.  We plan on catching them again this week and next.  We also went to the Lyric and saw Bryan Cheatham — another very enjoyable performance.  We stayed docked at CocoCay overnight

Were people not allowed to get off the ship after a certain time and what time the next morning did they let people back onto the island?

All aboard was the posted time, so no one was able to stay ashore after 5.  I don’t know what time people were able to get off other than consistently I’ve heard it is usually 8:00am
