Disney Cress code? Compared to Carnival

We are possibly going on a 4 day cruise on the Disney Fantasy.

Seems this may be a start up cruise and wondered how Disney is with dress code enforcement,.

On Carnival, I could wear dress shorts and a polo to dinner - would this go with Disney?

We just want to pack correctly.

Thanks

Generally speaking, the "dress code" is - no swimsuits or tank tops at dinner.

On DCL, you'll see all manner of dress from shorts & tshirts to full on formal on any given night.

Palo & Remy have stricter dress codes.

So nice dress shorts and matching colored pol with color will rok.....great news....My son is setting us up for what seems to be a test cruise and want to be sure we are packed accordingly.

Thanks again.....guess I'm a red or blue card holder on this line lol......

With the notable exception of Palo/Remy, the best way to think about this is: there is no dress code. Come as you are so long as you're not wearing swim wear in the MDRs (swimwear in the Cabanas is fine).
