Eurodam's upper forward decks

On the Eurodam's deck plan for decks 6 and 7, it looks as if the small forward decks could be accessed for scenic cruising. Are they available while going through the Panama Canal - or at least the locks? I know passengers can go onto the bow while in the canal, but wondered if these areas might not be as crowded.

It's been awhile since I've sailed HAL, but those forward decks used to be made available for viewing in special circumstances.  You might want to ask on the HAL board if anyone has relatively recent experience...

Yes, they will be made available. But I wouldn't assume they will be less crowded.

Yes, Im sure they will be available.  But just remember it is a long day, so there are many points during the day when the decks will not be as crowded.   Here is a photo of Gatun Lake - lots of seating
