Seattle hotels - which is best

Recommended Posts

I see you also posted on the West Coast Departures board...that is the better place for this info.

I don't know anything about the Sound Belltown, but I suspect you are comparing apples and oranges. Embassy Suites will have breakfast, usually buffet, and the free drinks and snacks at night, and typically bigger rooms. What does Sound offer?

Anyone can comment on these as far as best location pre-cruise from Seattle?

Regardless of the hotel quality of each, I can tell you I would rather be in Belltown than Pioneer Square (at least based on my experience in April). I'd love for someone to tell me that things have gotten better but Pioneer Square was overrun with homeless (more so than other places in town) and virtually all the bars and restaurants were closed still. Belltown had WAY more going on.

That being said if it were me I would be looking for a hotel closer to Pike Place Market-- it will give you the most area to walk around with things the way they are right now.
