Recommendations for hotel where we can stay one night but leave the car during the cruise.

We plan on getting there the day before the cruise and have in the past parked our car while we are on the cruise.  Would like a shuttle if that is available also.

I don't think you will find any place close to the port. You might try one of the hotels in the suburbs: Metairie, Kenner, etc. You would have to taxi or UBER to and from the port, but still a lot cheaper than paying a downtown parking rate.

Before Covid several hotels close to the pier used to offer reasonable stay and park rates. Now I can’t find anything.

May be some hotel near airport offers a park and fly but then you have to pay Uber both ways eating most of savings.

I couldn't find any park and Cruise hotels near Port. Staying the night before Cruise on a Sunday. Saturday rates are way more than I was expecting.
