Onboard Testing and Tracelet

Hello.... anyone know if onboard covid testing is being done prior to return to US from Caribbean?  Is the tracelet uncomfortable to wear?

We were on the Equinox on August 1st and no testing was required on return. As for the tracelet, I wore it on my belt loop and never knew it was there and my wife kept hers on her purse strap.

Barely noticed that I had it on.  It’s adjustable like a watch with many holes to have it as loose or tight as you want. One time I went to shower and took off my watch and completely forgot about the tracker on my other wrist. Ooops!

The tracelet was a non-issue and not at all uncomfortable. I would forget it was there.

 

The biggest deal was getting used to putting it on because I wore it on the wrist of my dominant hand, but I had that down by the end of the second day. No big deal at all.

Tracelet was no big deal as others have said.

In early August testing was available for persons on B2B and for non-US citizens who needed testing to re-enter the US. Not routine testing. Not sure about current status.

im on the 9/5/21 equinox and no more tracelets.

have no idea how they are doing contact tracing, if any

There are some reports on the board of people who boarded Equinox today that said they were not given tracelets. 

 

So I don’t know if this has now changed.

DW and I didn't mind the tracelets at all, but we did question their efficacy.

I do not believe that tests to return to the US are required for ships that left from a US port and return to a US port.  We were tested in St. Maarten after our Summit cruise two weeks ago because it was required to fly into the US from a foreign port. 

 

Tracelet didn't bother me at all but I'm pretty sure they are going to facial recognition for contact tracing....I know Royal is doing that.
