Outsource12 Posted June 28, 2023 #26 Share Posted June 28, 2023 Does anyone know if the beds on silversea in the suite are actually king size? They say queen, but when you push two twin beds together you get a King size mattress. Thanks.

A king mattress is MUCH larger than a full. Maybe someone who knows more about mattress sizes can chime in here.

lincslady Posted June 28, 2023 #33 Share Posted June 28, 2023 Annoyingly, there are different sizes in different countries. In the UK the single size is a standard 36", and I feel sure that the double/twin beds on most of the luxury ships, in a standard size suite, are twice 36",or 6' , i.e. two pushed together or not. I think in the UK that is a King size, a Queen being an unsplittable 60" or 5' wide.
jollyjones Posted June 28, 2023 #34 Share Posted June 28, 2023 Doesn't matter what you call them, the SS beds are 33 inches by 80 inches. So, when pushed together, they make a 66 inch by 80 inch bed. 1
