Tomorrow I will be boarding Mariner of the Seas for 7 days. I plan to go live from the ship and take you along with me.

If you have any questions ask away and I will do my best to get back with an answer.

In the meantime here is a link to the cruise I just got off of on Carnival and a review from my weekend on Freedom of the Seas back in July.

Stayed at a friend's house near south Florida since I just got off a cruise in Miami Saturday.

Just recharged at dunkin and Google tells me I will be at the parking place I booked in 1H 43m. I'll be a little early for my check in which is 2 but I feel uncomfortable with such a small window between my boarding time and sail away.

Someone mentioned in passing on another thread that there was a pop up testing site at the PC pier.

No problem for me, I live locally and will get tested before I go in November, but I am curious about it.

Is it for people who do not pay attention and do not realize that they need a test before boarding?

Is it for a  backup test if you don't answer the health questions to RC's satisfaction?

I bet it is costly, if its just there as a convenience.

Any info you can scout would be interesting to know.

Thanks and have a wonderful trip.

Awww, I was planning to do a live thread for my Sept 24th trip.  Still.  Every live thread is unique.  This will let me get a sneak peek.

I may have a cruise addiction.....I will also be on on 9/24 😆

Nice. I am joining Mariner on the 17th. Also, I was on the July 23rd Freedom. Have a great B2B!

Thanks! I'm excited I've had Mariner canceled on me so many times I can't believe I'm finally almost there.

Enjoy your B2B!  Will look forward to details on where the B2Bs meet on turnaround day, whether you have to leave the ship and any other bits of wisdom about the process and logistics. .  Have 2 B2Bs booked (same cabin on both legs) & can’t wait!

I'll tell you all about  it 🙂

I'll see what I can find out. Depending out how hectic it is at the port I may scope it out on turnaround day.

I've made it to the parking location. I'm using cruisetime parking and shuttle. This is my first time using them but so far it seems like a good choice.

My usual go to from port Canaveral, 528 parking, seems to have gone out of business.

Such a shame they were a pleasure to do business with.

I'm hopeful I can board a little early, there are intermittent showers I would hate to have to stand outside in that. We seem to be waiting for the shuttle to fill up so that should help. They said we are about 10 minutes from the terminal.

Did it take long to get a shuttle to the port? We're using them later this week - for the first time too.

Let us know how you like the new parking.  I never heard of them.  We used to use Park N Cruise but now we just pay and park right at the port.  $40 vs $85 for our next one is a pretty big difference.  Have fun  We will be there in 2 weeks.  I was on the first one out last month
