Independent Operaters Barred in Jamaica.

In light of Covid 19. a lot of restrictions are now imposed. Tried to book a excursion with a independent tour operator

and was told by the operator that the port authorities are denying them access.

I was also told you will only have access to a few areas.

We always go independently to enjoy the local culture, traditions and not the tourist trap..

We were forced to purchase shore excursions sponsored by the cruise ship.

Any input on this?
