maya king waterfall

Would like to go to the maya king waterfall when we are in belize.  Has anyone gone?  How far away is it from the ferry dock in palencia & is it easy to get to?

There are a  number of tours from various Placencia hotels that go there.  It's about an hour and an half away, maybe not quite 100 klicks.  A short distance off the Southern Highway up near Santa Cruz towards Hopkins so once you're off the peninsula, not too bad of a trek.  Just make sure your ship is in Harvest Kay long enough for you to transit to and from.
