Recent Chankanaab visit??

Has anyone visited Chankanaab Park recently - i.e. post-COVID reopening? I realize the all-inclusive option is no longer available - rather, you have to pay for meals a la carte/add-on.   However, their website is not clear on the use of the pool.  I have emailed back and forth a few times, and have been told 'It is a pool bar and only by consuming it you can use it in the dolphinarium area'  and  'so it is only consumption can be used.'   

 

So - they are saying you can only use the pool if you purchase something at the bar?    I've read past comments on CC about some people being allowed to use the pool, others not being allowed, etc.    Just wondering if anyone has a recent experience  and can comment.
