I assume the dock workers and RCCL personel are not there so it's impossible for them to let you off right? Yeah I’m assuming we can’t get off without customs here and they didn’t mention anything about getting off. I would’ve went hone after dinner if it was an option.

On Anthem out of NJ medical emergencies were always happening on the sailings I was on, which usually were longer than a week, thus probably attracting an older average crowd, too. It was rare a sailing wouldn't have at least one diversion or helicopter evacuation, or quick return to a port, or late departure, at some point, for a medical emergency. So not at all surprised Oasis is having similar issues with passengers. I have to wonder if they've ever considered some sort of high speed evacuation hovercraft they could have onboard instead of diverting the entire ship in every situation.
Rare Radio Posted October 3, 2021 Author #56 Share Posted October 3, 2021 (edited) It appears that Oasis of the Seas should be passing under the Verrazano Bridge soon. She should be at Cape Liberty, as the Captain suggested by around 9:30. I really hope everything goes well for the passenger. Rare Radio Posted October 3, 2021 Author #58 Share Posted October 3, 2021 (edited) Oasis of the Seas come back to Cape Liberty around 8 hours early. . . . The ship appears lovely as she passes the Manhattan skyline. All passengers should begin debarkation tomorrow morning. The Radio "Pressroom" won't be packed up until tomorrow afternoon when I board. Rare Radio Posted October 3, 2021 Author #59 Share Posted October 3, 2021 (edited) Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 1 of “LIVE” from Oasis of the Seas. I am currently enjoying a freshly brewed cup of delicious coffee while at my Pre-cruise Hotel. I am staying at Marriott Residence Inn in nearby Elizabeth, NJ. I only have about a 15 min ride over to Bayonne. It is a very nice hotel that is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. My boarding appointment is for later today at 1:30PM, and the cabins should all be open by then. The weather forecast for today is sunny and 80F. I still have to pack up the Radio Pressroom, and make sure my documents are handy to show the Terminal Representatives. I have some friends that I will be meeting on board, and it will be nice to say hello again after a couple of years. I will be posting next from Oasis of the Seas this afternoon. Thanks for tuning in. Radio My home last night at Residence Inn, Newark/Elizabeth I have to pack up the Radio "Pressroom" Now I know where to go when onboard Oasis of the Seas My Luggage tags have been put on. . . My Set Sail Pass is ready. . . It should only take about 20 min to get to the pier. . Edited October 3, 2021 by Radio

I believe the “Cheers” was on day 6, as I recall chatting with someone who did it. Radio can verify, or crush my recollection 😂😂. mac_tlc

maureencruiser Posted October 3, 2021 #66 Share Posted October 3, 2021 I'm not gonna lie, on my MSC Divina review last week, I was going to include Radio. I was going to say, The Divina backs slowly away from the pier in "memory": of Radio 😲 , but, didn't think anyone on the MSC board would know him. Now, I find out he is alive and kicking! 😍 Who am I thinking of, who wrote RC reviews and passed a few years ago? Glad to hear you're still cruising, Radio, welcome aboard! 😜
