Well that's a new one on me.

I thought Bonine was the non-drowsy med of choice

Happy Cruising

I took Dramamine for my first cruise in 1992 - and I think I slept through half of the week!

In 1999, and last year, I switched to Bonine.. and took it every day.
I was NEVER tired (except after staying up until 3am!)
I do not drink a lot, so I cannot testify on the effects of over indulging alcohol.

BUT>> for me, Bonine is God's Gift to Seasickness!

When I cruise...I bring the Bonine...unfortunately (or not), I have yet to use it....but I have never heard anything negative about the effects...am I out of a certain loop?

My DH and I use bonine on all our cruises. DH is EXTREMEMLY sensitive to meds...for instance...motrin puts him to sleep. He has NEVER had side effects from the Bonine, no tiredness or drowsiness at all, and we drink about 3-4 drinks a day on a cruise.

He swears by the Bonine. Thanks to it, we can go to a local amusement park and ride the rides!

Dramamine and Benedryl will put him out for hours! Never tried the patch or anything else since we have such great results with the Bonine
