jbmomto3 Posted May 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Just wondering if you were allowed to choose who you sat with at dinner or were just assigned tablemates? How many people at a table? We're planning to go on the Valor in February with some family, and wondering if we'll all be able to eat together. There will be 9 of us. Thanks from a newbie! jleq Posted May 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Assuming all of your reservations are "linked together" you should all be sitting at the same table. If you board, and that's not the case, talk to the Maitre'd on the afternoon of embarkation. They'll be in one of the lounges, changing dining assignments. pgmrdev Posted May 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Find out now from your TA if your bookings are linked and insure all have the same dining selection (early/late).

Grand Princess 2-2001 Grand Princess 12-2001 Carnival Paradise 3-2002 Carnival Destiny 10-2002 Golden Princess 10-2003 Carnival Legend 6-8-2004

Cotton Posted May 8, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 8, 2004 I found the Maitre d' at the dining room entrance when I had to change once. I checked out my table upon boarding, and didn't care for the location, so had it changed to a window table. bethee Posted May 8, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2004 Once four of our group were together and one couple were at another table. We talked to the MaitreD and it was corrected. The other time we were all together. We did use the same TA both times.
madelinerose Posted May 8, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 8, 2004 The maitre d' will be happy to oblige, if possible. For especially wonderful service, however, don't forget to tip the maitre d'! Have a fabulous cruise. Karen Carnival Miracle 10/24/
