FYI Parking at Cape Liberty is still $25 per day

We are just off the Oasis today, 10/24/21, and were still charged $175 for 7 days!  It was our first cruise on an Oasis class ship and we had a wonderful time with perfect weather and smooth seas.

Is this a public parking garage or just for the cruise ship? We are staying in NYC Friday night to Monday and getting on the Anthem of the seas Monday.  Just wondering if we can park Friday take a taxi or subway into the city then back on Monday. Parking in NYC can be $50 plus.

Everything is automated, so unless they somehow block entry, you should be able to get in - whether that's a good idea, is a different question - getting to/from the pier to/from the city is not easy nor cheap.

I Google directions from our NYC hotel to the pier, I think it will be better to park at or near our hotel and then drive to the pier.

Good plan.  Getting back to the City from the Pier might cost quite a bit.

We also just got off the Oasis.  Someone in one of our forum groups said an attendant told him the price will "probably" stay at $25/day until April.
