Treasure Hunter Posted October 27, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2021 I went on line to pay the balance on my February cruise on the Getaway out of NY as my due date was October 30 and was pleased to see that it had been changed to December 29. I called (the casino) just to be sure and was told that all cruises until March had the 120 days cut to 60. Thrilled and delighted. Just a heads up! chrisdar1 Posted October 27, 2021 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2021 I'm looking at booking a cruise in April 2022. Do you think that NCL may extend the 60 day pay in full date past the current March timeframe into April?

Rob-Bob Posted October 27, 2021 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2021 So someone leaving on a 4/1/2022 cruise needs to pay in full by December 1, 2021 and someone leaving on a 3/31/22 cruise needs to pay in full by January 30, 2022. Seems kind of crazy.

Rob-Bob Posted October 27, 2021 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2021 I am fortunate. Our next cruise leaves 3/20/22 so we are getting a break. Need to wait as long as possible because my wife is against going for now. We went on the Jade in Greece in July and a few things soured her on cruising now. We need to see what COVID protocols will be. Again we are on the first cruise on the ship at restart. We were on the first Jade sailing and this will be the first Jewel sailing. I am really looking forward to it though. I think the itinerary is great and we will be stopping at 6 new ports for us (Panama canal cruise).

Checked this morning and the April payment date is now 60 days for the cruise I'm looking to book, so I'm pretty happy! (Payment in Full date is February 9 for the April 10th cruise.)

You should get a reminder that your payment is due, unless you booked through a ta. 1
Rare All-ready2cruise Posted November 24, 2021 #14 Share Posted November 24, 2021 I always just capture the due date and put it as an event in my online calendar. Can't forget it then. Hope everyone enjoys their cruises.

Rare mking8288 Posted November 25, 2021 #16 Share Posted November 25, 2021 Just a friendly & cautionary reminder for "newbies" about NCL's Covid-19 final payment and cancellation deadline, as amended & pushed back for sailings now thru April 30, 2022 (instead of March 31, 2022) - with final payment for sailings or 7 days or more, depending ***** on ... at 60 days prior (instead of 120 days) for mini suites / club balconies and balconies or below ... The cancellation deadline is 1 day earlier at 61 days - otherwise, on day 31 thru day 60, the penalty is 75%. Sailings on/after May 1, 2022 is on a different timetable, as show below - read and kindly refer to it for details, to avoid nasty & costly surprises. Happy planning, dreaming, safe travel and healthy cruising ... we got till mid/late January to decide to proceed or cancel & change with zero penalty, and to track any (unlikely) price drop and add/change our bundled freebie "perks" etc. etc. ***** Refer to this official schedule link for details - https://www.ncl.com/about/cancellation-fee-schedule 4

disneylover89 Posted November 25, 2021 #18 Share Posted November 25, 2021 Does NCL send you a reminder when payment is due? My due date has changed and I'm afraid it may change back and I will miss my final payment date.

I am glad they send a reminder. Last year they changed the payment due date on me twice so they can change it back, they did it in the past.
