How long do you have to upgrade the Wifi package before your trip?

I have a bid in on my December cruise for a spa balcony.  If it's not accepted, I'm going to spend the money on a wifi package.  I understand bids can be accepted up to the day before your trip.  Does anyone know if you can also upgrade perks the day before you leave or is the cut off sooner than that?

You can upgrade after you board.

I looked back at what I wrote and realized it was poorly worded.  There's a substantial discount if you upgrade before you board.  I guess I'm just asking at what point do you lose that discount
