The overhead was definitely under 6 feet. And that was early 19th century. Same thing at Valley Forge.
Rare h20skibum Posted November 7, 2021 #252 Share Posted November 7, 2021 Isn’t that the best feeling to finally be aboard. I agree with that chocolate cake. Had several that looked just like that on our cruise What was that first drink?

Rare Sea Dog Posted November 8, 2021 Author #264 Share Posted November 8, 2021 Chops for Dinner We love Chops and even though it’s been two years since we ate at Chops on Harmony, we were excited about eating there. I must say this was the best meal I’ve ever had at Chops. The staff was so eager to please us. Even the head chef came out to talk to us. Everyone is glad we are back and it showed in the way the food tasted. Fantastic!! First off my Manhattan with Templeton Rye. then a toast to Maggie. The best dog in the world. Oh how we miss her. Yes we did cry. Then Crab Cakes as an appetizer. Followed by Lobster Bisque. Main course 9oz filet medium rare. Absolutely fantastic. With sides of cheese tots, asparagus and mushrooms. And finally warm chocolate cake and a espresso. My tummy feels real good right now. Gotta run sail away.

Every restaurant or bar we went to required proof of vaccination. To enter San Juan restaurants, can you show them a picture of your vax card on your phone? I will bring my original card to board the ship, but I don't want to lose or damage it in the city. Did they tell you how many passengers, or what % capacity the ship is sailing at? The time zone is 1 hour ahead of the Eastern zone during standard time. During daylight savings time the islands in the Atlantic zone and the Eastern zone have the same time because the islands do not observe daylight savings time.

Rare Sea Dog Posted November 8, 2021 Author #274 Share Posted November 8, 2021 Explorer of the Seas sail away was beautiful. Check this out. Later drinks in the Schooner Bar and a lovely meeting with Cruise Critic members David and Beth. I enjoyed meeting and talking with you. Let's do it again.
