CPCruisers Posted December 17, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2021 Anyone else having difficulty adding payment method on Medallion? I had a cc added but it expires the same month we are traveling so the system kicked that out and I now am not "green" for that step. I have attempted to add a new card multiple times and have either got the message- cannot do that now try back later- or looks like the new card is added but I still show as not "green" also when I try to add my husband it does not allow that?? It finally *looked* OK via the app...but not to be! Once on board I had to go to the pursers desk and get it all straightened out. I was able to complete everything but allowing husband to use my Princess Visa card like we always do! With all the issues I have been reading about with that app, I just figured it was one more thing. Tried several other times on different days but same message 🙃. Gave up, decided to check in at port. Alas, this week I tried again and SURPRISE, everything was noted as Complete and Green Lane. Go figure!!! 🤣 I have been told from friends just off Sky (first time on Princess since Medallion) that the Medallion works great on board and they loved the ship’s technology. Yesterday I tempted fate and looked at it again and now he is not authorized to use my card for some reason and I couldn't find how to add him but I did notice we were both still green lane. I'm just going to wait for the next update and if I still can't fix it, we will do so on board. Even was on the phone with a navigator who told me she couldn't do anything. Same problem. CC expired month of. Even with new expiration date, it wouldn't take it. Post cruise getting ready for another....Princess does not like Big Box credit card. Rejects it all the time. Have to enter another CC and then change it onboard. All I can recommend is that you try different cards until something works. Unless of course, you get the white screen of death....then you have no choice.
