butterfly4108 Posted December 22, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2021 Last I read St. Kitts definitely does, Dominica did a couple of weeks ago but nothing showing now, St. Lucia is "iffy" right now so I would say yes to that one as well... butterfly4108 Posted December 22, 2021 #3 Share Posted December 22, 2021 Just read that St. Lucia is requiring ship excursion tours or you can only explore the port area vendors
cruiseluv Posted December 22, 2021 #4 Share Posted December 22, 2021 I know Puerto Rico requires negative test for those flying in, I assume it applies to cruises as well
mrlevin Posted December 22, 2021 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2021 No to Antigua, st kitts, and st barts according to regent website. San Juan a health check not necessarily a test. Can confirm next two weeks when we go to each. marc

St. Bart’s…water was too rough. Not able to tender. We were scheduled for a tour. No testing for this schedule. sheila

gcorgain Posted December 23, 2021 #9 Share Posted December 23, 2021 Regent's voyage health site was updated yesterday for most voyages. For my sailing on January 3rd it lists one port where testing is required. I think effective date is 12/27. I would assume for cruise pax is the same.. anyways, can’t Regent procure this information?
cruiseluv Posted December 23, 2021 #11 Share Posted December 23, 2021 (edited) Regarding Puerto Rico https://www.discoverpuertorico.com/info/travel-guidelines and yes, effective 12/27 visitors coming either by air or cruise need a negative Covid test regardless of vaccination status Edited December 23, 2021 by cruiseluv

Rare loriva Posted December 26, 2021 #13 Share Posted December 26, 2021 Regent has taken down the requirements for the current sailing of Explorer, but here are the islands on our itinerary with restrictions as of 26 December: Bonaire: Antigen test required within 72 hours of arrival. Can tour independently. Grenada: Antigen test required within 48 hours of arrival. Tours ONLY through Regent. Dominica: No independent visits—only on Regent tours. St. Vincent: Antigen test required to visit. Only Regent tours. Based on these requirements and timing—Bonaire yesterday, Grenada today, Dominica tomorrow, and St Vincent on Tuesday—all passengers should have an antigen test tomorrow, but there has been no announcement of it onboard. (Regent also provided no individual notification—a mass email to all pax as they were sending about watching the safety video—about the new mask requirement enacted for our sailing. So you need to keep watch on RSSC.com for updates.)
mrlevin Posted December 26, 2021 #14 Share Posted December 26, 2021 Lori, on Splendor we ended up not having to have test before entering Guatemala; website never updated. Also, no port checked vaccination cards; I wouldn't trust the website. Marc
Camillus112 Posted December 28, 2021 #15 Share Posted December 28, 2021 (edited) Puerto Rico just recently required a 48 hour prior to debark test...Royal Caribbean informed that it would skip Puerto Rico, and Puerto Rico is its base Caribbean port! mrlevin Posted December 28, 2021 #16 Share Posted December 28, 2021 We are being tested tomorrow morning in advance of San Juan; I wish we would just skip it.
Snore42 Posted December 28, 2021 #17 Share Posted December 28, 2021 Have they mentioned if they will refund port fees/taxes, for any ports missed? Have been wondering this with all the other itinerary changes Regent has had to make lately.
mrlevin Posted December 28, 2021 #18 Share Posted December 28, 2021 Regent does not call out port taxes or fees separately so never refunds for missed ports.
