And, downtown PV was busy, lots of locals and tourists. Masks were being worn indoors. So basically same as we were there in early Dec.

Our room steward covered the sensor light in the hall with tape, but if we turned that light on, it wouldn't go off. Maintenance came up and covered all sensor lights with tape. Yes, they were very annoying! As one who trips over his own two big feet, especially at night I'm happy with the lights. Yes, the closet light is bright but it's around the corner. There are many of us that need a bit of assistance when walking around the cabin at night. As long as there is an alternative, tape, I think it will work for everyone.
MarkBearSF Posted January 2, 2022 #78 Share Posted January 2, 2022 Following. We leave on the Ruby Princess out of SF on Thursday, Jan 6 and will be following much of the same itinerary (with the addition of Manzanillo - big whoop!)

Rare cr8tiv1 Posted January 2, 2022 #82 Share Posted January 2, 2022 Ruby had the lights pre-Covid. Mixed feelings. Good idea but very bright and sensitive.

Our very reliable source onboard told us last night that the next sailing, Jan 8th, currently has 1,350 booked passengers. That puts it around +/- 37%.

cvpends Posted January 2, 2022 #88 Share Posted January 2, 2022 We are on this sailing and enjoying the heck out of the lovely Majestic Princess. We were also on her Dec. 18 - 22 sailing. On that sailing we enjoyed a couple of shows put on by the singers and dancers. So far, no such shows on this sailing, just solo acts in the Princess Theater. Anyone know why?

arizonaperson Posted January 2, 2022 #92 Share Posted January 2, 2022 (edited) For those onboard This sailing- Majestic December 29th. Thoughts on “things”? Just want to see how this crew and or sailing is going? It was nice to see the Patters early on,but none now. i know probably those onboard are too busy or not unlimited internet minutes? Just curious -wanted to compare and see how my mom‘s trip is going as she’s on board right now with you. This is her first cruise since Covid. ( she Elite)So she is of course noticing a big difference. Apparently she is noticing everything is being blamed on CoVid if any issues she said. Not much customer care with complaints . MsSoCalCruiser Posted January 2, 2022 #94 Share Posted January 2, 2022 (edited) We are thinking about booking the “Love Boat Cruise” in February on the Majestic Princess but I really would like to know what the approximate occupancy will be. If you have a free moment would someone please ask at the front desk for me??? I have to pay in full by tomorrow. Thank you so much in advance. 😊 Edited January 2, 2022 by MsSoCalCruiser

Deck 9......also even though the ship is only 2/3rds full the casino has been really busy every night.....does not look like to me the "No Smoking" policy is doing any damage to the casino....every table and most slots were full at 8:00 PM tonight........
