I heard from someone yesterday on this Anthem sailing and this ship seems to be doing well (knock on wood).     They made all their scheduled stops and are cruising back home to NJ now.

I'd be interested in hearing more on this sailing. I was supposed to be on this sailing with other family members (nine in total) but two came down with Covid so we all cancelled since a Family Christmas cruise without everyone in the Family isn't a Family cruise.

The roll call for the current sailing seems to be pretty non-eventful.

 

They skipped Port Canaveral (ostensibly due to weather, but no one is believing that story), but made their two Bahamas stops as planned.

 

You can probably ask over on the thread for any specific questions you have.

whoops that's right I totally forgot they didn't bother stopping at port canaveral.    most people felt it was due to high case count in FL and didn't want all the people going to disney, etc.

 

Yes, their roll call is pretty non-eventful, which is perfect for me as it means everyone is enjoying their cruise🤩

I started a thread about Port Canaveral as I noticed on the day Anthem was to arrive, 5 other ships were in port and perhaps scheduling issues too.  If so, then they should have said something.

 

All this missed ports are not always covid.

I don't have any reason to think they lied about missing FL due to the weather.  We were heading into 80 knot winds, apparently.  You may recall a little incident with Anthem and high winds from a few years ago... made alot of headlines...

True! We have missed PC many times on the Anthem pre covid as well.

And on the Thanksgiving cruise we missed it again.
