Though I have seen mixed reviews we got great steaks at Fine Cut Restaurant; 6 and 9 oz filets were excellent. Ate there three times in 14 days! We have also had great meals at Fine Cut. mac_tlc

Rare BennyBrun Posted January 9, 2022 Author #153 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Day 2 Breakfast by the sea. I was hesitant about the infinite verandah set up but I actually love it. It’s an a extension of the the room so we actually have more usable space and it’s easier to have breakfast on the “balcony” now.

How do you even taste anything from two drops 😂

Not sure if it’s on Apex, but I bet some expensive store is there. mac_tlc On the Apex Montblanc is in the location that Tiffany's is on the Edge. There's no Tiffany's on Apex, only Cartier and Bulgari. 1

I have very sensitive taste buds. That’s why when I was a child I did not eat any green or yellow vegetables! Wait, I am still a child 😀
Princess Fi Posted January 9, 2022 #160 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Living our cruise through you. We were 10 girlfriends that were to sail March 2020. Well that didn’t happen. We were 6 for this sailing but we cancelled. Being Canadians we have so many more hurdles. We need PCR test to return home. CDC changed isolation time (as many provinces) but to fly home if test positive is 14 day quarantine as airlines follow federal rules. I was on Reflection November and wonderful but Omicron has changed so much right now.
WhiteSoxFan Posted January 9, 2022 #161 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Thanks for all the posts. I love how low the pax count is. We will be joining you on Saturday (barring a positive Covid test).

You need a PCR test and that’s it. If you’ve tested positive it’s a 10 day isolation starting from the day of the test. I suppose the only real risk is having to Quarantine in Florida which in my mind keeps me away from the Canadian winter that much longer! The real pain is the second test you may be required to do upon arrival back in Canada. Especially if you’re are already showing a negative test… not sure how the geniuses came up with that logic but I digress… back to this great review! Though there are quite a few on this voyage. They were determined no matter the hurdles.

Rare BennyBrun Posted January 9, 2022 Author #167 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Day 2 Sea Day The gym was empty this morning around 9AM. You can easily socially distance if you want to but all machines are on. No one is hassling any one exercising without a mask but most people had it ready as they move from machine to machine. The Solarium was also fairly empty around 11AM.
Rare BennyBrun Posted January 9, 2022 Author #168 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Day 2 The whirlpool at the Solarium can blow you swimming trunks away… hold on tight! It felt amazing and you can actually control the bubbles.

gizmodog Posted January 9, 2022 #171 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Is there any way you can find out the number of guest on the next cruise? Doing a back to back and am quite nervous about cruising at this time. I’m sure there probably is no way but if you can I would so appreciate it. Thank you. I will see if I can work that into a conversation with someone in the know and get back to you if I can. I seriously doubt that the number would be very high though. txtechmk Posted January 9, 2022 #173 Share Posted January 9, 2022 Sounds like you are having a wonderful cruise! I am loving all the photos! I actually love the fact that they provided you with a bag for your mask at the dinner table. We were actually going to bring a few bags with us to put our masks in while we ate. Let me know if they continue to do that. Thanks.

I will continue to post my to go bag for the mask at dinner time. They do not offer that at Oceanview.
