Any info would be great. Thank you! We did not do a ship excursion in Bimini. We rented a golf cart z(4 seater or 6 seater) and drove the whole island, seeing what Bimini has to offer. Took tram to pick up cart. Price is $60 -*80 dollars for the day. We stopped to get fresh Bimii Bread and ate it there as not allowed on the ship. Meet a lot of passengers that did the same thing. Spent 4 hours (not a big island lol) A lot of fun. Edited January 26, 2022 by Missymo 3
spammie Posted January 26, 2022 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2022 We did the Bimini Beach Club excursion through the ship. It was absolutely my favorite day! The resort is absolutely beautiful! A golf cart met us at the pier and took us there. 3
Islandhop9 Posted January 26, 2022 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2022 We didn't do an excursion. The tram was free and goes to the beach club, also stops at a shopping area on the way back. The beach is free, but you can't use their roped areas with chairs/umbrellas unless you pay.

Did you pre reserve the golf cart? If so do you recall the name of the place, sounds like a good option.

Rare Stem to Stern Posted January 26, 2022 #8 Share Posted January 26, 2022 (edited) It really should not be necessary to reserve a golf cart ahead of arrival. There are literally a hundred or more of them. Get off the ship early and hop on the free tram. The tram will go to the beach first and head back toward the ship. Stay on until you get to the golf carts by the marina. There will be someone there to take your money and hand over a cart. I could not tell you what "company" rented us the cart or what the young man's name was that took our money. This is a good way to check out the island at your own pace. The steering wheel is on the left, but you drive on the left side of the road. Go all the way to the south end of the island on the main road. There is also another road that runs along the beaches where you can take pics of the ship in the not-too-far distance. We gave back the cart in time to be back on board the ship for lunch. There is more info in The Bahamas section of the Ports of Call section on the boards. Edited January 26, 2022 by Stem to Stern

"Sluggo and Renee's" and "Harmonia Adventures" are two of the places that rent the Golf Carts.there are many others but once word gets out , they rent out fast as there is really nothing else to do on the island. (the 4 seaters have 2 people sitting backwards in the back. The six seaters sit four comfortably facing forward and two in the back facing backwards , those go quickly. One other thing, the price quoted is for 1/2 day not full day. and be careful , driving is opposite USA. iEnjoy. Missymo Posted January 27, 2022 #11 Share Posted January 27, 2022 (edited) One other thing, can't get lost, only one main road. Went during Christmas and decorated the carts. Very Christmasy . Don't forget to see Dolphin House, and all the empty conch shells piled up on the shore. They stunk but looked cool. Also found Earnest Hemmingways "house" falling apart , but marked. Enjoy Edited January 27, 2022 by Missymo

We showed up on our golf cart unannounced on a Sunday morning. We caught Mr. Saunders on his way out the door headed for church. He happily preempted his plans to give us his guided tour of Dolphin House at $10.00 per person. When we were done another couple came along to see this fantastic attraction. The highlight of our morning on Bimini.
