Bingo?

I saw a referrence to Bingo in another message. Do they have Bingo on all ships? Everyday? Is it in the casino or somewhere else? I'm assuming there is a charge for it. (Well, unless the only prizes are those nifty stick ships I keep reading about.)

(I used to really enjoy playing Bingo at one point in my life. I could really enjoy it again.)

They have bingo daily, mostly in the main show lounge.

Very expensive, considering the payout.

Cards $10, 3 for $20. Occasionally some "specials" but few and far between. For the most part, the cards are good for one game only.

Perhaps something else as well. Watch this space.

Dance like it hurts, love like you need money, and work when somebody's watching.

I believe the Bingo was played mainly on Sea Days, price was something like $10 a board or 3 for $20. It's played in the Main Lounge where the nightly shows are held. They also had pull tabs available too. I know someone else will fill in the blanks for me.

I have been on 4 different cruise ships and so far bingo has been on each of them.. The caper will generally tell you when and where to go.. So far it has always been in the lounge.. There is a charge for bingo.. you can either pay cash or you can put the charge on your sign and sail card.. If you win, they pay you in cash though!! Usually there is bingo games each day.. sometimes the payouts are small and there is generally a bingo game for a free cruise..

There has been bingo on all cruises we have been on. They usually start out with a smaller jackpot ($500.00) one game only and then as the cruise goes on they have bigger pots. They always have cruise bingo! I actually one a cruise several years ago on the Victory and it's for a Suite!!!!!! We had a great trip on them. All we paid was port charges and taxes. Of course, they let Uncle Sam know and we had to claim it on our taxes at full value (brochure price).

On some of the cruises, they have 10 games for $10.00 and the prizes are start at $100.00 and go up to about $250.00 per game. It's alot more fun to play when you can win something and this is the best deal.

Coming back on the Inspiration on the Saturday, I bought my 10 yr old one bingo card for $10 bucks. I figured it was a way to relax while the wifes were trying to recapture their loses from the slots.

The prize was $1000. He won. It was his first time playing Bingo and just trying to pass a little time. Of course he wants to try it again when we go in Jan! icon_smile.gif
