ready2cruzagain Posted February 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2022 (edited) Sorry guys but still trying to figure out this testing thing. I am planning on going to CVS and while looking at different locations I see some give the Rapid Result Test Antigen and others give the Rapid Result Test PCR. Is the Rapid Result test PCR acceptable for MSC since I see it says antigen or RT-PCR test. I am soooooooo confused! phissy Posted February 12, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2022 PCR results may take longer than Rapid Antigen test. PCR test is also more expensive. I would do Rapid Antigen as results come back quickly. One less thing to stress out about.

Going to the Caribbean out of Florida and a US Citizen so Antigen are allowed.
Reenie75 Posted February 16, 2022 #9 Share Posted February 16, 2022 MSC confirmed with us (Canadians) that the Rapid Antigen test can be allowed to board the ship.
tweakes Posted February 16, 2022 #10 Share Posted February 16, 2022 Seems you have your answer, but for those who do need a PCR: Our results did say Rapid PCR for boarding in Barcelona (US citizens needed PCR not antigen), and the test was accepted without question.
