brat7432 Posted February 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2022 I see there are several balcony types on the Spirit: Balcony, Extended Balcony, and Premium Balcony. I am not certain of the difference, pros, cons, of each. Any thoughts? Thanks!
n6uqqq Posted February 22, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2022 The balcony designation is just your garden variety Carnival Balcony. Extended balcony is a couple extra feet wide balcony but room layout is normal. Premium balcony rooms also have the extended balcony and are wider and are a half time longer in length. The premium balconies are also fancier and mini suite like and are a bigger room.
lollylew Posted February 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2022 I have done an Aft Wrapped Balcony on the Miracle (sister ship to Spirit) and LOVED IT!! For my upcoming cruise on Pride, we have an extended balcony. Youtube is a great place to look if you want to watch videos of various balcony cabins.
vamartha Posted February 23, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2022 I haven't sailed on her yet (11 days out) but she seems to have the bowling alley balconies that are so awesome on Spirit Class ships. We had one on Pride last fall for a Panama Canal partial crossing and it was invaluable. Look at 8232, 6232 and 7258 on the deck plans to get an idea of what I am talking about. They book fast, I'd been looking at them for years and just lucked upon one during Covid. And they aren't considered Premium either, although they certainly are!
