Ballwin Babe Posted February 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Has anyone approached the purser at the end of the cruise and made an offer to stay aboard for the next sailing (not previously booked)? If so, how did that go and what advice might you offer? Thanks.
Rare BlerkOne Posted February 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2022 They will probably tell you to call Carnival. The ship won't have the final manifest for the next sailing.
Bgcruising Posted February 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2022 I have made the decision to stay onboard a few different times, but always have to call Carnival to book it, or do it online while onboard. Just some advice, dont wait until the last day to do so, unless you cant help it. Sometimes there are some extra steps involved if you book it within 24 hours of the next sailing. reeinaz Posted February 23, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2022 You have to be tested before the 1st cruise ends so I would strongly advise against waiting until the last minute to book the next leg.
Ballwin Babe Posted February 23, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Thank you! We travel with our own (proctored/internet) C19 test kits and have used them while traveling in Europe in December.
Ballwin Babe Posted February 23, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Do you end up paying list price? Or has Carnival been known to offer a pricing incentive to stay on? (Assuming we call or get online to make the request/offer)

There is no incentive to stay on for a B2B. Depending on how well the second cruise has sold it is possible they have last minute price reductions. I'd guess you'll know half way through your cruise if you want to stay on. The benefit of planning ahead is having the same cabin.
