cheer25mom Posted March 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2022 This room just became available on our sailing. Its listed as premium interior and I am thinking of switching here from deck 4. It looks like it could possibly be a hidden or obstructed ocean view. Anyone have any idea?
starfish the second Posted March 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2022 Mardi Gras Cabin # 11218 Category 4O - Premium Interior Stateroom Stateroom #: 11218 Category: Category 4O - Premium Interior Stateroom Description: When picking a stateroom on a budget, you have to think about what matters to you. Priorities, right? So if you're more about the comfort than you are the view, you should go with a Premium Interior stateroom. This room actually has the same floor plan as some higher-priced rooms (just without the balcony) so you're definitely getting a nice step up from a standard Interior room. Your room features a sitting area with a sofa, so hang out and lounge in comfort! Deck: Deck 11 Occupancy: Can accommodate up to 3 guests in this particular cabin Accessible? No Connecting? No Window Type: N/A Stateroom Size: 205 sq ft* *Square footage is not specific to this cabin, but rather as an average in this category type. nwcruiselover Posted March 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2022 (edited) It appears to be larger than a standard inside cabin, but no window. Same size as the interior portion of a balcony room. Edited March 9, 2022 by nwcruiselover
DebOinKC Posted March 9, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2022 (edited) Great question! I have looked on YouTube, but couldn't find anything. We have this room booked for our October cruise. Edited March 9, 2022 by DebOinKC

It’s the standard description for the category. I have sailed on ships before where rooms are categorized as “interior” but actually have an obstructed view, or “ocean view” but actually have a sliver of balcony. It looks like that might be the case here. I just wanted to see if anyone had experience with it.
