Kids Programs on the Jewel

We are taking the kids with us on this cruise. It's their first cruise ever and our first with NCL. Kids are 7 and 11. Any experience out there with NCL kids programs?

My son is a bit younger than yours (3 1/2 at our cruise time) and he LOVED LOVED the kids club. The first words out of his mouth every morning "is the kids club open?" He wanted to be there all the time. We went the week before THanksgiving....so there weren't many kids on board. They have a few different rooms for the different age groups.......and it seemed to me that the kids were all having a good time. Just one thing to remember- if you plan on having your kids go to the club at night...make sure you ask them in advance if they're taking them to any shows that evening. YOu have to get them signed in by 7:15 otherwise you'll end up waiting until after 8:30 to sign them in. My son went to the club EVERY night. We could NOT get him to have dinner with us. So we'd hit the buffet or order room service and make sure he was fed before 7. We'd make reservations for us (me and dh) for 8 or 8:30- and we all had a great time.

My son still talks about the "jewelry" boat that we went on.....and he asks us all the time when are we going back. I'm sure your kids will love it too!!
