Questions About 3 Night Freedom Sailings

Sailing next Friday on 3 night Freedom of the Seas.  Do you hear from the concierge prior to cruise to help with dining reservations? Is lunch on boarding day in specialty restaurant included in UDP,  considering there are no sea days?

You will not hear from the dining concierge prior to boarding to help you book. I take it you have the unlimited dining plan? Find a dining person and they will help you book when you board.

There will probably be someone outside the Windjammer when you board.

I am really asking about the suites concierge.  On 7 day trips they always contact you pre cruise.  Just not sure about a 3 night cruise.

Just an update in case anyone wants to know.  The suite concierge contacted me this morning, and is making all dining reservations for us.

I sailed Freedom on a 3 nighter back in September and Giovanni's Kitchen was open on embarkation day for lunch (Chops closed) and included in the UDP.  Things might have changed since then. I was in a JS due to winning a RoyalUp from balcony to JS, so no SL for me, thus did not hear from the SL concierge prior to cruise. You can go to any open specialty restaurant upon boarding and they will make all your reservations on your UDP for the entire cruise or you can try reserving on the APP once on board.
