Rare annmarz Posted March 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2022 When is the best time to purchase a water package? Are there discounts if purchased pre-cruise? Or once onboard? TIA

(The water package are the larger boxes)
tallnthensome Posted March 13, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2022 Biggest rip off in cruising ...... The NCL water package..... and I actually resorted to paying for it with two kids. Never discounted like most everything on NCL now.
luckyinpa Posted March 13, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2022 Does anyone else have issues getting every last drop out of the container. No matter how long u hold it upside down something is swishing in there.
cabincop Posted March 13, 2022 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2022 I was going to do the 6liter for my 14day cruise. I drink a ton of water. About 60oz a day. Plus I have to take meds in morning. I’ll get most of my water at casino. But I’ll also have these in my room.
cruisingrandy Posted March 13, 2022 #6 Share Posted March 13, 2022 Why not just buy a refillable water bottle with a filter in it, that's what we did

A few bucks for some boxed water is money well spent. 5

dmdiver Posted March 14, 2022 #9 Share Posted March 14, 2022 We were thinking of purchasing so we would also have a bottle to take ashore. While I have brought my yeti with me before, I always worry I will leave it somewhere. With the cartons of water, at least if I walk off without it, I'm only out what the water was, not for a refillable cup/bottle. Plus, I can toss the empty carton instead of carrying it around.
bluenose1 Posted March 14, 2022 #10 Share Posted March 14, 2022 If you purchase before cruise and have a selected delivery day, you don't pay the 20% gratuity.

But I will be on a 2week TA & then 5 days in Paris. I’m not lugging around anything I don’t have to. Twenty dollars isn’t going to break me.

NEW 2 CRUISIN Posted March 14, 2022 #14 Share Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) No discounts either way. ☹️ It’s not a “good deal” for sure….but it’s a major convenience! 👍 We get 24 and split between our two cabins for the week. Just specify the first day as your delivery day and it should be in your cabin when you board or shortly after!
