meanestmom Posted February 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2006 We are going on the conquest(1st cruise ever) ,staying on upper deck- balcony rooms 6360+636. My parents are mature- O.k. they're old(80), so we wanted mid ship near elevators. Are we going to be able to hear everyone!?! We are in the 2 rooms closest to the elevators . Thanks everyone. -Judy
MikeG Posted February 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2006 On my first cruise some people we met on board had a room right next to the elevators, they didn't seem to mind it, or at least never mentioned it to us.
serene56 Posted February 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2006 the elevators are located in seperate rooms. You wont hear nothing-not even the dings. The cabins themselves are somewhat soundproof. You will be surprised at what you hear when you open the door. For the sake of your parents-- keep those cabins. Its long walks to get anywhere else.
