Ilovesailaway Posted April 19, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2022 Seriously the VIFP offers from Carnival are insane right now.... $30 for an Alaska cruise? The offer is for a cruise that leaves from Seattle on 5/2 and I damn sure can't make that tight schedule but wow!!! Lot's of other offers that are a little more and and have a little more lead time... I booked a great offer for a 7 day in Feb 2023. Please someone tell me they are able to do this Alaska for $30 cruise
Moviela Posted April 19, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2022 I am going in August for free. I believe the $30 offers might be per day? No?

ScottsSweetie Posted April 19, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2022 I just booked the Spirit for the end of May - $100/pp for balcony with $100/pp OBC. Had no plans for an Alaskan cruise this year, but can't pass this up! 😲

For the $250 casino cash, was it just for you or for your guest in your cabin as well?
Moviela Posted April 19, 2022 #6 Share Posted April 19, 2022 The casino cash for me has always been for the one who accepted the offer. If the other person in the cabin had an offer for the same cruise, the casino honored that.
Pyxie Posted April 19, 2022 #7 Share Posted April 19, 2022 I had the same offer, but booked one in July and was able to upgrade to a balcony for $100 more (same price they had listed for an OV).

Lucille Bluth Posted April 20, 2022 #11 Share Posted April 20, 2022 My husband and I just booked an 8 day balcony on Spirit for $95 pp and $100 OBc pp. Alaska wasn’t in the plans anytime soon, but at that price, we couldn’t pass it up!
djcass4199 Posted April 20, 2022 #12 Share Posted April 20, 2022 We are cruising on Mardi Gras on July 9 on a casino offer. 2 people, inside Havana stateroom with gratuities prepaid is less than $1,300. And they are giving us $200 on board credit. We were planning to be done with Carnival and start trying other lines, but that price is so good and we would be stupid to pass it up. mowogo Posted April 20, 2022 #13 Share Posted April 20, 2022 $412 after taxes for a balcony the 6 day Spirit with $100 OBC is a steal.
deb1eric Posted April 20, 2022 #14 Share Posted April 20, 2022 (edited) I couldn't turn down 6 day cruise for 477 total for extended balcony plus 150 on board credit. First solo cruise but I had to take it cause it will never happen again at that price. Was looking for next year for 1500 with hubby but I'm leaving him behind now Edited April 20, 2022 by deb1eric
sanmarcosman Posted April 20, 2022 #15 Share Posted April 20, 2022 Just as well you can't go, OP. The skies will be gray and there will be daily mist and drizzling rain and cold temps this time of year.

I get inundated with offers and its not always easy to tell what offer links are worth clicking through. But if you include the code in your post, it would be easier for me to find the gem among the trash. Thanks!
LatinaInTexas Posted April 20, 2022 #18 Share Posted April 20, 2022 I'm still grieving because I can't take advantage of an 8 day for $100 a person, balcony, drinks in casino and obc. Since I have only cruised with Carnival 4 times and don't spend much tine in the casino this was surely a once in a lifetime offer. Just can't make that midweek departure/extras days off work boooo. I did semi-console myself with 8 nights on the Horizon in August with a similar offer but it's hard to move on lol.

My Alaska offer was not a casino offer. I never really spend time in the casino. That's my husband, but I received the offer this time and not him. deb1eric Posted April 21, 2022 #24 Share Posted April 21, 2022 My offer was a Bingo offer which they considered a Casino offer when I booked. I haven't played in the casino at all but bought Deal or no Deal cards on my last cruise in Feb. and won free Bingo cards.
