Deals on Specialty Restaurants

Recommended Posts

When you board you will see sales table set up with dining specials.   Prices for everything are going up up so you may be better off to buy a pkg on your cruise planner.

Our on our March sailing our Head Waiter gave our Son and his Fiance a fabulous deal for Izumi.

Better to try for the last two or three nights. I've received 30% and 40% off, but that wasn't on megaships, and they were sending staff through the Windjammer at lunch trying to get customers.

It may be ship and Maître d dependent, but we had on board offers on all three of our recent October Oasis, December Allure, and April Anthem cruises.  They were specific venue based, varied in value, and did not occur only on the first night.  C&A tier level may be an influence. Your results may vary.

We just sailed on the Wonder. Booked the cruise last minute so there was no dining packages available online so we booked three individual specialty restaurants. Once we boarded we chatted to the staff at the MDR and was told we could buy a 3 night package for $109 + gratuities. So we cancelled our reservations and bought the package  Saved about $70 in total.

In the past you could get deals on specialty restaurants on the first night of the cruise.  Does this still happen on Royal Caribbean Cruisrs?

It was called "First Night Done Right". We used to take advantage of it but sadly it no longer exists.

No i have never seen such deals, better on the cruise planner.

I agree that most often the promos offered on the cruise planner are very good and frequently the best offers.  But we have experienced a number of times where similar packages are offered early on board and frequently individual venues will also offer their own deals.  As mentioned previously, we experienced this on our recent last three cruises and on a number of our pre-pandemic cruises as well.

Check Cruise Planner. Book/buy.

Later if price goes Down you can cancel and rebuy.

Be careful of BOGO 50% off on second Beverage pkgs. RCI raises prices when they offer % on Bev Pkg.
