Tntt Posted May 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2022 We just got off the Independence and we went to the casino and we met many people there that stated they were on the cruise for free because they earned a free cruise through club royale, we registered our seapass cards while we played in the casino but how does this work? I tried to register for club royale on royal caribbean website but there is no option to register. How does club royale keep track of our points and will they send us promotions? Please explain. Cruise for vacation Posted May 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) It is tracked when you are playing with your room card in the machines. I don’t play tables but I think you just let them know when you sit down (others may no more about the tables) Edited May 4, 2022 by Cruise for vacation
jalves Posted May 4, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2022 When playing at tables, you had the dealer your room card when you start. The dealer enters that into the system which tracks your playing time.
Cigar King Posted May 4, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Your seapass card is used to track your play on the machines. At the tables, it's magic. Basically you need to play $12,500.00 to get the first level in the club. (2500 points at $5.00 per) There are other threads on this topic. Try searching. Once you get the points you get some perks, and you can get cruise discounts for play along the way *if* you earn enough points. You also get one free cruise at the beginning of their calendar year, which starts April 1st.

So if you bring a 3000-4000 recycled through several times (with loses each time) could result in 12.5 going through a machine?

Yes, you can recycle your winnings through the machine, so if you are on a machine that s paying out, it will cost less than $12,500 to get your 2,500 points.
RJ257 Posted May 4, 2022 #7 Share Posted May 4, 2022 I did a 6 day cruise and took about $600 to the casino. I started playing slots. On the slot machines I won money and lost money and won money etc. I never played with more than $300 of my original $600 the whole trip. I ended up with 1808 points which means I ran thru over $9000 while playing. I got an instant rewards certificate for a cruise ( inside cabin) and have since been offered an ocean view balcony on various dates.

I can’t imagine 300 from my hand going that far. Well done!!
Cigar King Posted May 5, 2022 #9 Share Posted May 5, 2022 (edited) I'm not a gambler so the casino and its offers has little appeal for me. The wife does like to play the slots though and we have several friends who are fans of Club Royale. Last year I decided to experiment with getting Prime. The wife did it in one B2B, for 50 dollars. So far we have been able to use two offers. In one I was able to reduce our cost of a cruise by 500 dollars. However, they took our OBC of 300 dollars, so in reality we're ahead 150 bucks. (500 - 300 - 50 = 150) We then got a free annual cruise which I used and saved us 1350 dollars. So the way I figure this, we're ahead 1500 bucks on the deal. I'll use that as the bank for this year, and see where we end up. At this point, I am not convinced that the casino "pays" for us. Perhaps if we were retired and/or lived in Florida it would. The other perks also mean didly to me. We don't drink, and usually stay in suites so often the internet is covered too and when it's not the D+ free days do the trick. I'm going to be tracking this year's progress as well. Honestly for me that's more enjoyable than the casino. I'm probably an outlier so feel free to make your own assessment. I'm sure the casino already has. 😉 Edited May 5, 2022 by Cigar King
Sunshine3601 Posted May 5, 2022 #10 Share Posted May 5, 2022 Go to clubroyaleoffers.com on a weekly basis to check for new offers. We usually get a snail mail flyer but never get an offer via email. You can upgrade cabin at a cheaper rate than what you see online.

We have enjoyed being prime for a couple years.
Coralc Posted May 5, 2022 #12 Share Posted May 5, 2022 I won $1000 recently, but I cashed out and certainly didn't play it off. I ended up with 130 points. Not enough to get offers or much of anything, other than $2 Freeplay when I cashed them out.

As folks have said, check your earned points at https://www.clubroyaleoffers.com/. Perks can be found at https://www.royalcaribbean.com/experience/cruise-casinos/rewards If you played enough, you'll start getting offers. Now, the casino is probably the place you will find people sailing on casino offers. Pre-pandemic, there were often up to 25% of the adult passengers sailing on a casino offer (Club Royale or land-based casino certificate). Think about that, every 4th cabin sailing on a discounted fare or comp'ed room. We were on a cruise a few weeks ago and it was around 13% of the adult passengers. ElkGroveCruiser Posted May 5, 2022 #14 Share Posted May 5, 2022 I play the machines, and not a lot of $$, but when we got the promo in the mail and I called we were offered a 4 night balcony cabin for free. At this point I asked how much it would be to stay on board and do a B2B and they said "we can give you that one for free too." Needless to say we booked it on the spot.
sailor05 Posted May 5, 2022 #15 Share Posted May 5, 2022 There were having a nice promo where you would be Prime after 1500 points when it's normally 2500. Prime not only free cruises, but free drinks in the casino. Not sure if they're extending that promo or not.

Ctrinh225 Posted May 5, 2022 #19 Share Posted May 5, 2022 I just got off Symphony of the Seas. I amassed 9000 points but only played my $1500 budget money. I played slots. I win then I lose and vice versa. They gave me an instant cruise certificate for a junior suite and $500 free play on my next cruise till September 2022 on various cruises. So I just rebooked on Symphony for August. Only paid $139 total (taxes, fees, etc) for a 7 day cruise in a Junior Suite. I am a top tier for Norwegian but will now only go Royal bc of this Casino Royale program.

familycruzinnewbie Posted May 5, 2022 #21 Share Posted May 5, 2022 I’m not a casino person, and even less so because I react badly to smoke. But I played a lot of myvegas and redeemed some for the 100OBC which I had to activate through club royale. I don’t have a crown and anchor #, do you get that after your first royal cruise. Will I exist with club royale from my OBC activation. I can’t see getting to prime but discounts are good too.
SullytheBFG Posted May 5, 2022 #22 Share Posted May 5, 2022 I normally take around $1k and play most nights between two or three hours, BJ at $10 to $30 a hand. Have been on four week long cruises with RCI absolutely nothing! Maybe they don’t like us Brits 🤣 They always ask for and swipe my key card. Am I missing something? I found a few newer machines in the craps table area that were pretty loose. My spins were $3 to $6ish depending on the machine. I turn the volume down so as not to attract folks when I have a nice win.
