Cruise4Jesus Posted May 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2022 Booked on the Allure for November and looking for a bit of information on the terminal that RCCL has being completed in Galveston. I believe it is going to be Terminal 3 at Pier 10. How far from the existing terminals is it? Will it still be walking distance from from some of the close private port parking that is already existing? If not close is there any new private parking going up by it? Will it have its own Port of Galveston parking lot or will it be shared with the existing terminals? Thanks in advance for any information. Colleyville Scott Posted May 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2022 The port of Galveston is also building parking for the new terminal. It is called “North Parking” and you can reserve for November. I do believe the existing lots are too far.
Galveston Cruiser Posted May 6, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2022 Pier 10 will be a long 15 blocks to pier 25 with no walking capabilities. There will be parking at pier 10. There should also be shuttles from privately owned parking lots.
Colleyville Scott Posted May 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2022 Update…. I too will be on the Allure in November. The parking at the Port of Galveston is $168 (retail). I booked at EZ Cruise Parking for $90.00 and they will shuttle you to the port.

To keep your "eye" on the construction, see SkyCam North - Galveston, TX. Use the Full screen feature in the lower right corner for a little bit closer view. aacruise Posted May 10, 2022 #9 Share Posted May 10, 2022 Channel 2 news (Click2houston com) had a story on Royal Caribbean's new terminal. Hopefully the following link will be allowed: https://www.click2houston.com/news/local/2022/05/10/first-on-2-kprc-2-gets-dibs-on-inside-look-of-port-of-galvestons-new-high-tech-terminal/
CPriest2013 Posted May 10, 2022 #10 Share Posted May 10, 2022 We will be cruising on Adventure of the Seas on November 19, 2022. Will all Royal Caribbean cruises be using this terminal by then? Is there a website with parking information for the new terminal? I had booked for the express lot at the current port already but I need to cancel that and figure out new parking since my husband is a disabled vet and there's no way he could handle that kind of walk. Thank you!
Lane Hog Posted May 10, 2022 #11 Share Posted May 10, 2022 The port shows it opening in October. My understanding is that many of the parking lots by Terminal 1 and 2 served with shuttle buses will still serve Terminal 3.

Howdy @CPriest2013 The Official Port of Galveston Cruise Parking offers a discount. See https://www.portofgalveston.com/245/Disabled-Veteran-Discount-Program Toward the bottom of the page there is an email address & phone number if you have further questions. Hope this will be helpful and please thank your husband for his service. Happy sails, Host Kat
