jhenry1 Posted May 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2022 We are flying AC from Austin Texas to Athens Greece with a layover of 3 hours at Toronto. Are any tests required for the flight from Austin to Canada and we will not be leaving terminal? Also what terminal would we arrive at and what terminal would we depart? Have never flow AC but have been told the international flights are great.

Rare 1kaper Posted May 15, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2022 No. There are no tests to arrive in Canada any more. If you are not leaving the secure area you don’t have to fill out Arrive Can. Air Canada does have a handy tool that lets you put in your flight and layovers and tell you what the requirements are. I believe with AC you’ll be arriving in Terminal 1. At least that’s where I went coming from Houston.
Fouremco Posted May 15, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2022 You will arrive at and depart from Terminal 1. As long as your remain within the secure area of the terminal, there will be no need to make an ArriveCAN submission. Given the lengthy lineups to be processed through customs to get out and the same for security to reenter the secure area, you'd be very wise not to exit. No COVID testing required.
