cruisewiththekids Posted June 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Anyone else see cabana pricing at $449.99? I've never seen it that high. I think I paid $349 a few months ago. This is for a 4nt cruise in October.
lubedobedo Posted June 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Yes, we just went last month and it was $349. We will stick with clamshell but even that went from $29.99 to $34.99. Just booked it for April.
cruisewiththekids Posted June 14, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Was it 449 for your upcoming April cruise? Or 349?
Guest BasicSailor Posted June 14, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Another reason to save your money and place a deposit on another cruise 👍
lubedobedo Posted June 14, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2022 It is $449 for the April 2023 8 night Dream cruise for cabana and $34.99 for clamshell. They were cheaper on last months cruise we went on.
cruisewiththekids Posted June 14, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted June 14, 2022 We enjoyed the cabana, but I can't justify $449.
Rare craig01020 Posted June 14, 2022 #7 Share Posted June 14, 2022 That's a big price hike, but I would still pay it. 😎
bguppies Posted June 14, 2022 #8 Share Posted June 14, 2022 How much is the big cabana now? I forget how we paid for our regular cabanas for years, but $449 is way too much.
deweytrader Posted June 14, 2022 #9 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Paid $359.99 for my 6/20 Magic sailing. This was before the latest price increases - now listed for $449.99.
kona_wahine Posted June 14, 2022 #10 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Wow, that’s insane. But they will keep selling out…. Not to me.
cruisewiththekids Posted June 14, 2022 Author #11 Share Posted June 14, 2022 We've only had a cabana once, and we enjoyed it, but has anyone else felt rushed out by the staff? It was probably 2:00 or so, and they kept coming around wanting to know if they could take the food, if they could come in and start cleaning up, and we felt like we should have not been rushed out. sunshower9 Posted June 14, 2022 #12 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Good grief. I was planning to get one for an upcoming cruise even though I thought it was expensive, but that price hike is insane. I don't think I'll be paying for that.
mz-s Posted June 14, 2022 #13 Share Posted June 14, 2022 The last time I was in HMC I was on a cruise that didn't cost $450. Each to their own.
hard_eight Posted June 15, 2022 #14 Share Posted June 15, 2022 Only way they'll lower it, is if people stop paying it. They won't.
