I’m going to attempt to do my first LIVE review, so wish me luck! I usually get so caught up in just enjoying my vacation that I forget to take pictures of my food and other important things.

Booked this cruise on 12/24/20, thinking that surely Covid would be a thing of the past in a year and a half. We all know how that went. This trip was a surprise Christmas gift to my mom; gifted Xmas 2021, so I successfully kept it a secret for a year!

We are Debbie (me) and Dixie (mom, 81). Because of mom’s age and fitness level, I booked the “easy” excursions through Princess and realize there are certain must-see sights on this journey that I might not be able to see.

We are flying to Rome today and look forward to spending three days in Rome pre-cruise!

If anyone else is on this cruise and wants to join in and post, please do!

Have a great time in Rome and an enjoyable cruise with your Mum.

I took my Mum on a Caribbean Christmas cruise back in 2001 whilst she was still active. Happy days!

We'll be on Regal for a B2B commencing 9th July, so I will certainly be reading your LIVE review.

Following with interest as we join the Regal on 25/06.

It sounds like they have already started filming on the Regal for "The Real Love Boat" so I'll be particularly interested to hear about any potential disruption and venue closures!

Hoping you have a delightful cruise.  My companion (daughter’s 80 year old MIL) and myself (70) have booked mostly semi-private tours during our 6-27 Aug sailing.

Please keep us informed if you have time and the wi-fi!  Love to hear your thoughts on the ship!

We are on the same cruise as you! Flying down from Edinburgh to Rome on Friday. Can't wait....

The only other time I was in Europe, I was in Scotland (Edinburgh and Inverness) with my daughter. Such a beautiful country! Loved Land’s End.

Okay, my last post yesterday was landing in JFK. We had an easy 2-hour layover and were soon aboard our flight and heading to
Rome. I absolutely splurged and we flew first class. Might never go back to main cabin! 😜

Once we had our bags at FCO, we were met by our driver, Stefano, from Rome In Limo, and we started a 4-hour tour of Rome. I booked this transfer because we landed at 7:00am and couldn’t check into our hotel until 2:00pm. This was an absolutely perfect day! He took us to many sights and gave us some great history.

I’ll share pictures of what we saw, but can’t be specific as to what is what - definitely working on jet lag brain!

This door has a small hole in it and when you look through it, there is a grove of trees and at the end, perfectly framed, is St. Peter’s Basilica!
