cruisegirl1976 Posted June 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2022 I am trying to decide between Crum & Forster-Travel Insured, or AIG Travel, has anyone used either?.
klfrodo Posted June 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2022 Yes. I have used both. Both times I had a "Valid" claim, followed the procedures they required, and were reimbursed up to the max amount set by limits of the policy.
Rare GeezerCouple Posted June 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2022 We have used Travel Insured, which we purchased through TripInsuranceStore.com . We've had several claims, including a few large ones, and all claims were paid without any nonsense. There were never any "exclusions" that were surprises. Everything we claimed, which were basically ALL of our extra expenses due to the problem, were paid, with the exception one time of tips for a taxi ride where I forgot to get a receipt. Make SURE you get receipts! Also, make SURE that if the claim is based upon a medical issue, that you get a LETTER FROM A PHYSICIAN documenting the status/situation. (This is where a lot of claim "problems" seem to fail; the other reason is typically that the "event" was never covered in the first place.)
