hillaryswain Posted June 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2022 So if you have your own test administered by your provider can they up load the data or do you need to use a specific type of test? Is it vbetter to use the safepassage co tests instead even if they are double the cost?
jalves Posted June 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2022 Sailing in just a few weeks and I haven't seen any reports yet on how the new process works. I plan on getting tested at a Walgreens nearby (we live here WDW) just like I've done several times for our RCL cruises.
JoAnneV Posted June 25, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2022 Your provider should give you an electronic result that you can upload. PCR, NAAT, or antigen tests qualify. The email that Disney sends is really informative. Good luck!
Chuckwick3 Posted June 29, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2022 We plan on ordering tests from emed.com That is who we have used on our other cruise. We plan to use them again for our cruise in October since we will be arriving at WDW 4 days earlier. We will do the test and then upload the email result they send to the website that Disney uses. Maybe we will all get lucky and they will discontinue pre-cruise testing by then.
craigtompkins Posted July 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2022 Has anyone used https://onpoint-testing.com/product/certified-teleservice-covid-testing/ for a Disney cruise? They are the same idea as emed but you can use any over the counter test. Same rules apply - must open and to the test in front of the telemedicine representative.
