golfatsea Posted June 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2022 Anyone know of a transportation service at SEATAC that can handle electric wheelchairs to port?
Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted June 26, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2022 Many of the airport transfer buses that the cruise lines use have lifts to elevate passengers in wheelchairs on to the rear of the motor coaches (buses). Worst case scenario is you may have to wait for the next bus if the bus on hand doesn't have the lift. Returning to SeaTac from the pier (at least at Pier 91) as multiple buses are lined up and the bus transportation folks can get you on to a bus with a lift quickly. You might want to let your cruise line know about the accommodation for your wheelchair, and call the pier as well. You should find the pier shore side phone number on the first couple of pages of your cruise info packet that will be emailed to you just prior to your cruise date. Call the pier earlier in the week that you are cruising.
