Nice aft Posted July 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2022 Getaway 7/23 - I really did try to search but I'm lacking search skills apparently 🙂 What time can we expect staterooms to be ready? We're only gold, so don't have any type of priority. It's been since pre-COVID that we've sailed NCL Thanks!
JeninIndy Posted July 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2022 We cruised on the Breakaway in March and our room was ready when we boarded shortly after noon. The ship was also only 60% capacity. Interested to see more recent experiences!
Rare shof515 Posted July 6, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2022 usually around 130ish
casofilia Posted July 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2022 I would agree with @shof515 that 1.30 would be the generalization BUT it will depend on a number of factors; arrival time, number of B2B cruisers for any steward, and so on. We have known it to be as late as 3pm.
dbrown84 Posted July 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2022 I'm used to it being around 1PM. I usually get to the ship around noon and there is little to no line to get check in/on the ship. I then go get lunch and by the time I'm done eating, the rooms are usually ready. And since I always carry on my luggage, I'm all unpacked and probably a quick nap by sail away
Ready to Sail! Posted July 6, 2022 #6 Share Posted July 6, 2022 Certainly no set time depending on a number of factors. Every cruise we have been on has been a little different. We take our own bags on board also. You should be able to leave them in one of the lounges until they announce the cabins are ready, then grab and go get unpacked. Otherwise you can sometimes be waiting awhile until they are delivered, but again, that can fluxuate. I hate waiting for them as I also like to be unpacked before sail away. complawyer Posted July 7, 2022 #7 Share Posted July 7, 2022 around 2 pm you can usually get into the cabin. gives you a lot of time to either get something to eat, drink or explore the ship
Rare annmarz Posted July 8, 2022 #8 Share Posted July 8, 2022 On the Star last week - our cabin was ready by 1 pm. But we were allowed to place our carryons in the cabin before that official time. Very convenient! Listen to the announcements 1
