Atlas Ocean Statement: New CEO To Join Soon

My impression from reports of the early voyages, with the original President onboard, is that he was over his head.  Nothing got fixed, there were no make-goods for the broken promises.  The new President's first job is going to be to fix their reputation.

We are currently booked on the July 23 Svalbard cruise and booked a year ago.  The pre cruise experience has been horrible and yes, promises have been made but never in writing, and now the higher ups will not even return calls or emails.  If Atlss keeps up like it is, they will not last.  We have zero expectations for the onboard experience if Atlas will actually get us to the ship.

It's time. His hiring of executives was not the best, and he needed to be removed. There are many reports circulating regarding other things he did inside, but that is an other topic. Bravo Atlas Execs

Just saw the announcement of James Rodriguez as the new CEO.  He sure has a lot of work ahead of him!

would love to get his email address.  I’m sure there are more than one James working there so not sure about his email address.  Does anyone have it?

I talked to Mr. Rodriquez a number of years ago in a conversation with he and Frank Del Rio when he was at Oceania. I found him pleasant and thoughtful (we’ve been avid cruisers for years & have experienced many top cruise lines…Oceania is our most cruised). I’m hopeful he will be able to bring aboard experienced management and staff to bring Atlas up to the standards it must meet to compete effectively in the industry. I like the Atlas concept and would love to give it a try. If someone finds his email I’ll try to connect.

The first thing James did was take the ship out of service to be reimagined..he has hired people from Crystal and Oceania for all guest services, food etc..I for one cant wait until they start up in November..
